01 PCRD Executive Office aims to expand and reshape the system for mitigation of policy contradiction among government agencies.
A system will be prepared, under which it becomes compulsory to have regional development policies of individual government agencies go through PCRD pre-evaluation. Under the system, it will be reviewed whether the legislations, accounts and budget, and individual policies are in accord with the directions pursued by PCRD through a consultation channel with the agency in charge.
Meetings for coordinating pending policy issues will be extended, with the meetings held whenever pending issues arise. Furthermore, a personnel exclusively responsible for policy coordination will be appointed within the Planning & Policy Team.
A horizontal consultation channel with other presidential committees will be set up, through which regular policy meetings will be held together and each other's tasks coordinated. Also, based on the channel, bilateral support and collective reporting will be boosted for the meeting with the President.
02 PCRD Executive Office pursues to improve communication with people and strengthen publicity of government policies.
Regional policy publicity activities will be launched so that people can easily understand the policies, and policy services for local media as well as opinion leaders will be improved. Bilateral communication will be strengthened by mailing public campaign advertisements, webzines, newsletters and periodicals, along with the Twitters. Also, communication and cooperative networking between PCRD (officio, expert, advisory and special members) and the Economic Region Development Committees will be enhanced.
